Tom has performed professionally all over the USA. His diverse experience includes playing the role of George Harrison in the internationally acclaimed Beatles tribute band the Fab 4, as well as performing with Elik Pink and the alternative rock band Beat Therapy. He’s also a founding member of the original rock band Grim World Legacy and has performed with them for over 25 years. Tom brings his energy and passion for music to Devil INXSide, adding an exciting and distinctive element to the band as they recreate some of the most iconic tunes of the 1980’s and 90’s.
Tom Laird - Guitar/Vocals
Noel Johannes
Keyboards
Noel has been writing and performing music for nearly thirty years. He originally started out playing bass until he discovered synthesizers. He is primarily influenced by Industrial/Goth music and through different projects has provided local support for 30 Seconds to Mars, 3Teeth, K.M.F.D.M., Stabbing Westward and many others. Noel’s passion for synths and nostalgia for the 80’s led him back to New Wave making him an ideal fit for covering the sounds of Andrew Farriss.
Jace Nimz - Drums/Vocals
Jace has played just about every form of percussion over the years, but prefers the energy of rock and metal. His notable influences include Stewart Copeland of The Police, Morgan Rose of Sevendust, and Sheila E. Jace has spent the majority of his career collaborating with various original music acts. He began playing drums in 1986. In 2009, Jace, playing with original music act Less Than Under, sold out Denver's Gothic Theater multiple times. He has shared the stage with other well-known bands such as K.M.F.D.M., Great White, 30 Seconds to Mars, White Lion, and Mindless Self Indulgence. Jace is currently playing shows exclusively with Devil INXSide.
Mike Perlovsky - Bass
Mike is a multi-instrumentalist who sowed his musical oats in the metal and prog scenes, previously playing in Intrinsic Gray and Delusionist as a lead guitarist, as well as drumming in a classic rock ensemble. Prior to Devil INXSide, he had only flirted with the bass, now diving head first into it to capture the funky magic of highly-respected INXS bassist, Garry Gary Beers. Mike is very excited to dance with everyone as we honor these timeless jams. Oh, and you should probably come see why people call him Magic Mike ;)
Dan Barnhart - Lead Vocals Guitar/Harmonica
Dan has been working professionally in music since he figured out at 13 that he could write the stuff. When his guitar teacher submitted a song he wrote and it won at the Colorado Composers Classic his Mom urged him to keep doing it. He formed an original band in high school and they found success through college and after, touring nationally and recording several records. With a nerd's interest in audio engineering, Dan became a record producer and has worked with diverse artists ranging from Ellie Goulding to the Colorado Symphony to Slipknot to The Voice. He's also done sound design for video games like Assassin's Creed and Just Dance as well as music for movies, TV and radio. He has an original band that has played with artists like Snow Patrol and The Fray. Dan has only ever done original music before, but his long-term love for INXS led him to Devil INXSide. He's stoked to try his best to bring a glimpse of Michael Hutchence' brilliance to life.

It's been said that INXS were the Beatles of Australia. They dominated the charts worldwide through the 80's and 90's knocking heavyweights like Michael Jackson off the number one slot and outselling Guns 'n Roses. Even recently, they kicked Pharrell Williams off the number one position on the album charts with their greatest hits record. They not only recorded dozens of hit records but also were a mind-blowing live band, at one point playing Wembley to almost 100,000 people just years after opening for Queen at their hugely famous Wembley show. Bono has said that Michael Hutchence, INXS’ frontman, was the last true rockstar.

Devil INXSide is comprised of some of Colorado’s most talented musicians. Fronted by Dan Barnhart, who not only looks and sounds like Michael Hutchence but also brings Hutch's energy and playfulness. Tom Laird delivers their unique/signature guitar tones alongside Noel Johannes, who nails the era-defining 80’s synth and 90's piano sounds INXS was known for. Their rock solid rhythm section demands that you dance and is held down by Jason Nimz on drums and Mike Perlovsky on bass.
